DJ Java Decompiler is Windows decompiler and disassembler for Java that reconstructs the original source code from the compiled binary CLASS files (for example Java applets). DJ Java Decompiler is able to decompile complex Java applets and binaries, producing accurate source code. DJ Java Decompiler is a stand-alone Windows application; it doesn't require having Java installed. DJ Java Decompiler is not just Java decompiler and disassembler but it is also a fully featured Java editor using the graphic user interface with syntax-coloring.
What do you need to know about free software?
I'm not sure what was attempted here but it seems that it doesn't work at all. Maybe it was made with an older version of Java and now it's not compatible with newer versions.
Nice decompiler, but still lacks some features. I put it online, so everybody might no-hassle test it: www.javadecompilers.com
Pretty good!. It has been able to decompile in quite an intelligible way the code. Easy to navigate
Got exactly the same thing. Ran the jar, opened the extracted class file. Nothing happened. Guessing it might be a 'what version of Java can the app handle' issue?
Unable to run. Method Start :java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 260, Size: 260 As is typical with an Open Source Java Project, the author failed to validate for all possible scenarios, meaning the end user is left holding the (empty) bag.

JD (Java Decompiler) is a decompiler for the Java programming language. JD is provided as a GUI tool as well as in the form of plug-ins for the Eclipse (JD-Eclipse) and IntelliJ IDEA (JD-IntelliJ) integrated development environments.
Specifically, many of the game’s textures were left in their vanilla state. The HD Project mod aims to be the overhaul that Capcom’s version wasn’t, and its creators have gone to remarkable lengths to make it happen.

JD supports most versions of Java from 1.1.8 through 1.7.0 as well as JRockit 90_150, Jikes 1.2.2, Eclipse Java Compiler and Apache Harmony and is thus often used where formerly the popular JAD was operated.[citation needed]
Variants[edit]
In 2011, Alex Kosinsky initiated a variant[1] of JD-Eclipse which supports the alignment of decompiled code by the line numbers of the originals, which are often included in the original Bytecode as debug information.
In 2012, a branch of JDEclipse-Realign by Martin 'Mchr3k' Robertson[2] extended the functionality by manual decompilation control and support for Eclipse 4.2 (Juno).
